Fact checking included reviewing all 564 pages 4-6 times.• Helped plan and execute 13 book promotion events in 13 cities for book tour, which included advising bookstores and institutions on preparation and setup, supervising publicity, coordinating security arrangements, and leading Vice President Dick Cheney and Mrs. Cheney through events.• Liaised between Mrs. Cheney and media for all book-related publicity, which included 68 radio, 27 TV, 8 internet, and 5 print interviews by working with the publisher to create a press plan, corresponding with reporters, briefing Mrs. Cheney before interviews, and aiding her during interviews. • Determined the copyright status, managed the contracts, and made payments for the 36 photos – from 20 institutions – in the book’s illustration insert.
