Following the loss of my beautiful son, Austin, in March 2022, I was confused and angry about the silence around the loss of my baby. In The Worst Girl Gang Ever, I found fellow warriors, unapologetic warmth and strength. I have joined Bex and Laura to support them in taking TWGGE to the next level, reaching more women and partners affected by baby loss, and helping businesses and HR teams understand how they can better support their employees affected by loss. The Clipper 2011-2012 race saw 10 identical 68ft racing yachts take on an 11 month race around the globe with weather ranging from flat calms to storm force winds. As a watchleader, I was responsible for managing a team of 8 crew of varying sailing experience in 3 week cross-ocean endurance races. Leading a team under extreme mental and physical conditions requires strong communication skills, determination and an unwavering sense of humour!
