As Grant Coordinator, I specifically work with the Drug-Free Communities Grant provided to Levittown to establish and strengthen community, government, and agency collaboration in support of coalitions like LCAC and ultimately reduce substance use among youth and, over time, among adults. In this role, I work actively towards preventing alcohol and drug uptake among adolescents in the local communities by empowering and amplifying the voices of the Levittown Y.O.U.T.H. coalition, providing education, and enhancing the skills of community leaders and educators through evidence-based programs.
