    • Education Curator
      • Sep 2021 - Present

As the current Education Curator at the Jupiter Lighthouse, I act as director of all educational programs, field trips, guided tours, and educational events for the Jupiter Lighthouse and Museum. I recently revamped our paid summer internship program and manage 5 interns in their interpretive roles as they create smaller-scale educational programs. I planned two of our large events: Family Adventure Day, during which 700 guests enjoyed educational activities about early life in Florida, and the Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour, an environmentally-focused short film festival with 600 guests and environmental organization participants.

    • Education and Volunteer Coordinator
      • Jan 2021 - Aug 2021

At both the Buddy Holly Center and Silent Wings Museum, I developed and implemented educational field trips and tours, public programs, and community partnerships to meet the visitor engagement goals of each museum. I created Google Suite-based curriculum for 3 new virtual field trips and lesson plans, re-created in person field trips to better tell the stories of Black musicians at the Buddy Holly Center and Women Auxiliary Pilots at the Silent Wings Museum, and developed AR experiences utilizing Artivive. I also managed the volunteer program and worked to increase volunteer retention.

    • Data Collector
      • Jun 2020 - Aug 2020

Both remotely and in person, I developed methods to collect data from Zoo guests. I utilized Microsoft Excel, SurveyMonkey, and Cognito forms to record data and observe trends in visitor engagement and behaviors.

    • Evaluation and Exhibit Development Fellow
      • Aug 2019 - May 2020

As the Fellow at the Indianapolis Zoo, I created evaluative studies to better understand how guests engage with the Zoo's exhibits. I analyzed data and wrote summary reports of larger trends in visitor engagement. All of this data spurred my creation of exhibit concept designs, exhibit labels, and other interpretive content at the Zoo. During the end of my fellowship while my work was remote, my interpersonal communications and dedication to my research of the Zoo's guests never ceased.
