Being an editor for NewGrad is such an honour. It is really enjoyable writing articles about topics such as student life, graduation and mental health. My role also involves working with individuals who want to write for us. I guide them through the writing process making sure to maintain regular communication and edit their articles. My current role with Teaching Personnel is at Chelmsford College, Essex. I work with students in further education who require additional support. My roles and responsibilities include: - 1:1 Support - Hover Classroom Support - Update Student Support plans in line with the students' Education Health Care Plans (EHCP) - Liaise with students, colleagues and caregivers to optimise the students’ educational outcomes In this role at Chelmsford College, I work with students who have a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health Special Educational Needs and Disabilities including ADHD, ASD, Anxiety, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia and hearing and visual impairments. Completing my Internship Experience UK with Bright Network on Public Sector, Policy and Charity was very insightful.
