  Global Citizen Project (GCP) at the University of South Florida is a student organization aimed to provide undergraduates with global/cultural opportunities and experiences that will prepare them to succeed in today's interconnected world. GCP increases global awareness, responsibility, and participation. Becoming a Global Citizen ultimately strengthens one's ability to engage effectively and meaningfully with diverse people, places, events, challenges, and opportunities. As a GCP Student Leader and Peer Mentor, I was able to attend campus cultural fairs and events where I engaged in interpersonal communication with undergraduates students seeking opportunities to travel abroad or become more globally aware. I constantly engaged within my community, shared my experiences abroad with students, and assisted undergraduates through the GCP Adventure Map and process to ensure that they are meeting all of the requirements in order to receive the award upon graduation.   I was a University of South Florida Student Intern for a kindergarten classroom at Lamb Elementary School. I created and taught lesson plans with intention to improve student participation through integration of interactive and creative exercises. I worked alongside the teacher to ensure that all students needs were being met through a variety of accommodations. Our goal was to create an environment where education would be viewed as attainable, desirable, and valued.   New Student Connections is a student organization that offers experiences, activities, advice, and opportunities for students to get involved and connected within the University's community. As a student leader and Camp U Counselor, I acted as a peer mentor and offered my leadership to students to ensure that their transition to USF is more smooth and exciting. I often engaged in team building activities to build a sense of community and Bull Pride. My ultimate goal was to better the college experience, awareness, and pride to all I would come in contact with. I always brought my "A game" and positive energy to all campus events and activities.
