      As the Development & Outreach Manager for The Nature Conservancy in Iowa out of the Land of the Swamp White Oak Office in Muscatine County, my mission was to connect donors in Eastern Iowa to the unique ecosystems and wildlife found throughout TNC Iowa's preserves. I also worked throughout Muscatine county to inspire people for nature and get people out onto the Land of the Swamp White Oak Preserve. From time to time I could also be found on the prescribed fire line, admiring the spring wildflowers below the oaks of the preserve or searching for small mouth salamanders.
