I have progressed my freelance personal training business now to the point where I solely work for myself. I am self employed and pay rent to utilise a city centre located state of the art, modern gym. I am centrally located in Leeds & work both within the gym and also offer mobile personal training. I Conduct all personal trainer requirements as before: - Exercise prescription, instruction, fitness assessments, measurements, paperwork and recording of client sessions for payment purposes. - Conduct Personal training sessions within the policies and guidelines established by Pure Gym ltd. - Be punctual and conducting oneself in a professional manner. - Successfully complete and update CPR & first aid training. - Maintain personal training certification through continuing education Ie. new qualifications. My role now, also involves extra responsibility: - Maintaining, developing & retaining current clients. - Promoting and advertising to ensure new business aquisitions. - Ensuring feedback is received by way of testimonials etc, so the business is accountable & able to progress. - Developing and achieving a personal business plan every month. Once passing the interview stage for this job I was put in an intensive academy to become a professional headhunter. Where upon completion I would graduate as a consultant able to run my own business within the company. My area of practice was the life insurance contracting market where I worked with members of the Actuarial Institute from 2007 and above.
