      • Aug 2017 - May 2019

The position of Community Outreach Coordinator at Auburn University was created specifically because of the attributes the previous members felt that I possessed. With the creation of this position, I have had free-range to make the position my own, and create many new involvement opportunities for the members and the Auburn community. Some of my responsibilities include: co-leading monthly meetings, creating partnerships with other organizations to promote mental health awareness, leading activities to increase the mental health care for those in the Auburn community in need, and establishing concrete requirements for the position for those who will eventually fill the position.

    • Auburn Abroad Intern
      • Jan 2017 - May 2017

My Study Abroad Internship was a semester long internship that taught me many different skills, as well as giving me the chance to share with students my personal experience studying abroad. Daily responsibilities in this position include welcoming students when they enter the office, and assisting them with any questions they have, as well as collecting forms and paperwork. One of the main activities I take part in is peer advising, which includes helping students learn to navigate the Auburn Abroad website, as well as answering questions about certain programs, and assisting in which program fits the students' needs. I also lead weekly Study Abroad 101 Sessions, where I give a presentation about studying abroad, and the many different options available to students, as well as how to begin and finish an application.
