After completing the two-year Fujitsu Project Management Graduate Scheme, I am now working in an IT project management role.During my time at Fujitsu, I have gained experience working for clients in the retail and banking sectors, both government-run and private. I now have a wealth of experience in managing application development projects, service transitions, Oracle and SAP integrations, as well as hardware rollouts and decommissioning work. I currently manage teams of up to 35 people, both co-located and across Europe and Asia, and am responsible for £2m+ worth of projects at any one time.I am responsible for projects throughout their lifecycles, from careful shaping of requirements with customers through to implementation. My specialities lie in building trusting relationships with project stakeholders and careful control of project budgets. I am also responsible for risk and schedule management, as well as project change control. My recent work has provided me with experience in cutover and deployment management.I have also worked with Agile delivery methodologies, both in the role of Scrum Master and Agile Project Manager, and I have successfully delivered projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Senior In-House Translator and Project Manager

Jul 2013 - Sep 2016
Ran multiple translation projects each week, involving quoting clients, sourcing translators and preparing invoices. Was responsible for organising staff both within and outside of the office and responding to customer queries, be it large blue-chip companies or private clients; therefore gained an aptitude for forging relationships with clients and suppliers. Had to return a final product that was to the highest standard and was completed on schedule, all the while ensuring that this was done in a manner that was economically viable for the company. Carried this out alongside various translation and proof-reading tasks, meaning that organisation and the ability to prioritise were essential, particularly in the case of jobs with urgent deadlines. Specialised in the translation of technical documents such as patents, legal disputes and medical texts, requiring detailed research into a wide variety of different subjects and meticulous attention to detail. Used and maintained variety of translation tools and worked with translations across multiple different media, such as letters, reports, survey responses and subtitling. Was involved in seeking out new clients and signing long-term contracts with existing members of our client base by completing bids. In my final year, took on more responsibility with regard to the management of interns, particularly in developing and advertising the intern programme, and supervising interns while they were in the office.
