  At Zoo Knoxville, my primary responsibility is to facilitate the execution of various corporate events and formal occasions. In this role, I have been able to set up and navigate events of up to 800 guests, co-coordinate numerous weddings start to finish, and train associates in fast paced situations. Among my time at Zoo Knoxville, I have also been fortunate enough to train with our animal ambassadors, a variety of exotic and domestic animals used for education throughout our facility and events. Although I have been giving animal education tours here for several years, I have recently been able to provide larger scale tours for our Circle of Friends members, leading them through the more in-depth aspects of the Zoo and the animals we care for. Because of Zoo Knoxville's educational nature and my extended time with them, I have been able to train and be trained in multiple areas of the Zoo's functionality, allowing myself to become flexible and multifaceted.

  As a Guest Engagement Specialist, I am responsible for providing top tier support while responding to inquiries from within the company as well as from guests. In order to streamline workflow most effectively, I have to demonstrate the ability to problem-solve efficiently and promptly. I am responsible for directing guest services efforts consistent with Altar’d State standards. I use my knowledge base to evaluate situations and make appropriate business decisions on the turn of a dime. In this position, self-motivation is a primary focus with a fast paced, ever-evolving environment. I maintain a working knowledge of product detail that changes periodically, and I also have the priviledge of being able to take care of additional responsibilities assigned by Altar’d State beyond the bounds of my day to day responsibilities.

  At Eagle Bend Mother's Day Out program, I was a Teacher for the two year age group. Among my time there, I followed a set lesson plan with several learning based activities, sensory practices, memory tests, and group building skills. I was over a group of up to 9 each day, us moving to different rooms for each activity. I also assited in the organizational aspect of the program, printing and delegating lesson plans and activity papers for each class.   At Cruze Farm, my inital role was front of house hospitality, making rounds and conversing with guests, ensuring that their experience was above expectation. I then transitioned to sales, where I entered requests in for guests and ensured their orders were taken and filled in an effecient and timely manner. Expected high volume crowds in the evnings and weekends caused me to adapt to systematically place large orders in an organized manner and make rounds of filling those orders in my free time to better manage efficiency and guest satisfaction. I also prepared, loaded, and and drove our company vehicle to catering events, where I used my extensive experience to cater to our clientel in the most productive way possible.
