I was hired on this short term contract to help the company with the large number of vacancies they needed to fill for the September term time start. My role in the company was to go through the applications for the various vacancies, looking at whether they would be appropriate for the role. My role also required me to write Indeed adverts, organise interviews, be in contact via the phone and email with applicants, as well as inputting candidate data into spreadsheets and general admin. During my time here I was given an insight into the hiring process within companies as well as putting to use my psychology skills by quickly deciding whether applicants would be appropriate and possessed necessary skills for the job they were applying for. I also improved my Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
