I was assigned to fundraising and raffle sales. on the day of the event I helped with venue set-up as well as walked through the gala greeting guests and giving individual sales pitches and further explanation of the mission of our organization as a means of generating more donations. As a volunteer companion to the elderly, I volunteer weekly to offer companionship and assistance to an elderly individual. This often includes grocery shopping as well as other household errands and tasks. My role as a companion is to lend a loving hand and listening ear.
