I assisted in tutoring the third year students at The Glasgow School of Art along with creating my own jewellery collections. I thoroughly enjoyed being an extra support to the students, showing different techniques, giving a fresh view point on their designs and giving hands on help! During this year I arranged a ‘Gold’ exhibition for the students, to celebrate and display their 18ct gold pieces from a 'Working with Gold Project' in a local Boutique/Gallery. Encouraging them to promote and advertise the exhibition and help with the set up and organisation. I regularly contributed to end of project critiques, giving feedback and advice on their finished pieces and suggesting new influences.I worked as part of a small dynamic team with the four other Residents in co-ordinating and setting up our end of year exhibition. Our objective was to showcase our new projects and arrange a touring exhibition between four different galleries across the U.K. This required communication with printers, vinyl production companies and galleries along with keeping a blog and advertising through social media.
