Characterisation of high-speed readout for the VELO upgrade. The LHCb Experiment (CERN) will go through a major upgrade in 2018-2019 replacing most of its detectors and completely changing the trigger and data acquisition system. This upgrade will allow the experiment to operate at higher luminosity and to select the signal candidates more efficiently. Characterisation of high-speed readout for the VELO upgrade.
