Barista
-
Sep 2020 - Dec 2020
As a barista, I worked open to close three days a week. I was typically the only employee scheduled for the day, so I was responsible for all the aspects that go into running a coffee shop day to day. I did all opening and closing procedures, took inventory every evening, restocked when necessary, ran the register, counted money, and did routine cleaning of the store. I also had to have full knowledge of the menu and be able to prepare all the drinks to order. As a barista, I worked open to close three days a week. Youth Intern
-
May 2019 - Aug 2019
This role allowed me to develop leadership and organizational skills. It entailed meeting with students every Sunday and Wednesday, leading bible studies, small groups, and other youth group events. I also wrote bible study plans, organized student paperwork for retreats, and created summer calendars. This role allowed me to also exercise my multitasking skills, as it was a job that required me to be on my toes and flexible, while juggling the many things that needed to get done.
