      I am the lead epidemiologist on the Cancer Loyalty Card Study (CLOCS) research team, investigating whether purchase history data collected by loyalty cards at high street retailers can help improve early detection of ovarian cancer.I was involved in this project from the beginning and responsibilities included: - designing and writing the participant questionnaires and other participant documents - writing the ethics application and amendments - liaising with participating NHS sites to set up recruitment of ovarian cancer patients, managing CPMS reporting and purchase orders for reimbursement of recruitment costs - leading the data transfers with the participating high street retailers - managing the dataset for this project, developing skills in Linux and MariaDB - performing all data cleaning and analysis in R - writing and disseminating the findings from the projectI was also involved in supervising BSc and MSc student projects.
