      The Town of Mamaroneck/Village of Larchmont Volunteer Ambulance Corps (LVAC) provides emergency medical services to the residents and visitors of the Village of Larchmont and the Unincorporated Area of the Town of Mamaroneck. Whenever called upon for an ambulance, we respond with a Paramedic and EMTs, each of whom is trained to help in a professional manner. In addition, Larchmont VAC stands by at community events such as: local parades, Swim Across America, running and cycling events, school and community fairs and much more. We also offer tours and classes for civic organizations such as Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, as well as host a regular schedule of CPR classes.Being an Attendant who learns and helps with small tasks including taking vitals and providing efficient help to people in need along the EMTs and Paramedics on board during a shift. Also being an EMT in training who learns how to take charge on calls and assess patients by themselves without any help from predecessors. Show less
