In each country, I support the design of Randomized Control Trails to assess the effect of climate and resilience programmes, develop data collection plans and tools, and reporting & dissemination;2. Support WFP Bangladesh & Nepal country offices to evaluate forecast based financing programs for floods response;3. Coordinate the development of portfolio-level pre-analysis plan that will guide cross-country meta-analysis of the impact evaluations; and4. Provide technical and substantive support for UN-Women's engagement with and interventions in the intergovernmental environmental mechanisms such as the Rio Conventions, Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, and the Global Pact for Environment, as well as other environment-related processes under the UN General Assembly. Collaborate with and closely follow the three Rio Conventions – UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), UN Convention on Biological Diversity (UNCBD) and UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) - to mainstream gender considerations into the policies and programmes under these Conventions. 2. Enhance the capacity of National Delegates to mainstream gender in the implementation of environment-related intergovernmental processes by designing and delivering capacity building workshops on gender mainstreaming in various environmental processes. 3. Develop and implement UN-Women’s policy research and engagement on ‘gender and climate change’ aimed at identifying entry points for gender mainstreaming in global and national climate policies.

I served in the Sustainable Development of Tourism programme of UNWTO providing research support for a variety of projects implemented by the programme. Primary responsibilities:1. Joint development of the ‘Baseline report to integrate sustainable consumption and production patterns into national level tourism planning’ - a UNWTO- UNEP joint project.2. Providing theoretical, technical and organizational support for the Sustainable Tourism Program under the 10 Year Framework of Programs (10YFP STP) for Sustainable Consumption and Production, established to achieve the 12th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) on 'responsible consumption and production'. Substantial theoretical support in the development of 10YFP works, including the '2017 report to the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) on the progress of 10YFP STP, and the 10YFP STP Annual Magazine 2016/17. 3. Provide support for the development and drafting of international publications produced by the UNWTO, on the theme of sustainability, including the 'Flagship report of the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development (IY 2017)4.
