I have had the chance to work with Hanif a couple of times. We were first colleagues at the Centre for Advanced Research (CARe) where we were both research assistants. In fact, we rode in the same car numerous times when carrying out fieldwork. Hanif first struck me as someone who is a model professional and you can see this in the way he dresses and how he carries himself. We also share a common desire to always be organized. That is trait that I like about him. While there is always room for self-improvement, he shows you that he is continuously willing to learn. Throughout our time together at CARe, we've also become friends and connect on a personal level, I feel Hanif is someone you can trust, depend upon and have a good old conversation with. The second opportunity came around when I helped recruit him into Kasakita Interiors (S-GL Enterprise) where he was coming into the company as my replacement. While not exactly a like-for-like position, his work revolves around sales, business development and product expertise. The knowledge transfer and adaptation period were brief and intense but he was up for the task from day one. During the short time that I mentored him, he was an exceptionally fast learner. Even when he made mistakes, he persevered and continued to want to master his craft. That is a hallmark of any successful person. I am very happy to see him flourish now in Kasakita Interiors. Whatever career move he decides to take, I am certain that he will continue to fulfil his very promising potential. Hanif has a very bright future ahead.

I feel that Hanif's character is to never give up on whatever projects that are given to him. Eventhough the task seemed extremely difficult or taxing, he will find his way eventually and excels in it. Working with Hanif over half a year, I have learned tremendously in areas of understanding your co-workers and managing your emotions/stress. My responsibilities as a recruitment officer include: Conducting training sessions for newly recruited drivers to bring them up-to-speed on their roles as Dart Drivers and also to liase with Jabatan Pengangkutan Darat (JPD) on their application. My other duties also revolve around the Logistics side at Dart, namely in assigning drivers for miscellaneous jobs such as regular deliveries, corporate deliveries, and school runs assignments.
