The intention: create more "keepers of the style." Hani takes her students through the ins and outs of the industry, with insights you don't find in a textbook. August 2011 through December 2013. Four workshops annually. Excellent feedback. Developed a two-day, hands-on training and 85-page interactive coursebook in "Proofreading and Copy Editing" at the request of Emory Continuing Education. One of the best typographers in Atlanta, begun before the MAC became the darling of the graphics industry! Highly-skilled in translating a comp or a "tissue" layout into beautifully wrapped copy. An excellent project manager, with a knack for meeting and beating deadlines. Nine years with one of the best typography shops in Atlanta, then I opened my own shop, CAPS & lower, inc. In our first year, we were voted one of the top three shops in the city. Five years later, I opened Character Place. In my own shops, I fully utilized my design, editing, proofreading, and project management skills. And at Character Place, I designed quilt books exclusively for Quilt House Publishing.
