As part of my doctoral work, I developed a Gaussian process-based method for modeling NGS time series data which yielded better performance compared to pre-existing methods which were suggested for similar problems. I attended a number of conferences to present my work. - Tools: Matlab, R, various bioinformatics tools, LaTeX, bash, git, computer cluster services provided by the university. - Methods: Gaussian processes, Bayesian modeling, sequence alignment, etc. As part of my doctoral work, I developed a Gaussian process-based method for modeling NGS time series data which yielded better performance compared to pre-existing methods which were suggested for similar problems.
