I've had the pleasure of working alongside Hana over a few years, where she was an intern, project consultant and then a team member within my team. What separates Hana distinctively from others is a genuine passion for learning and becoming better at what she does, underscored by an incredible work ethics and sense of ownership. I recall fondly how we could be working together over many late nights but you will always see a happy smile and a relentless spirit and energy the next day from her. It is certainly a rare combination of gentleness in her approach towards hard work that speaks of kindness and yet resilience and stamina. She was a key pillar in my team and was an independent contributor who single-handedly supported me as well as other team leads across a wide range of key APAC-wide initiatives - from managing executive learning programs for senior hotel executives across countries and cultures, to culling massive data sets to support decision making over an employee population of more than 75,000 employees. Such was her capacity to be able to contribute across strategic initiatives and yet be operationally effective at the same time. I've thoroughly enjoyed working with her and it is with tremendous pride that I see her develop into a confident young leader who helps shape HR being understood as a strategic function that impacts teams and organisations.
