I have had the pleasure of knowing Hammad on a professional and personal capacity. From working with him, it is clear to see his drive, tenacity and strong work ethic which was truly admirable. We both were responsible of running the day to day operation of an established, award winning restaurant in Derby, and with the productive team work we implied in and out of work, we could not have had a more effective operation. While working in the same team, our communication was near faultless, where relaying information to and from the kitchen and amongst the front of house staff was vital, but came effortlessly working in a team with Hammad. I have also worked under Hammad's leadership where he demonstrated great organisation skills, delegating tasks to the front of house and kitchen staff on immensely busy nights, overlooking all aspects of work, being able to ensure the highest quality of service and standard of food. The communication factors that were implemented on such nights showed how well equipped Hammad is to lead. Over the course of work, I have read up on some his work that he produced in university. One of which was really interesting was the study he carried out about the socialism of diverse ethnic backgrounds. The scope of analysis gone in to this study was very impressive, being insightful in understanding the various cultures, norms and differentials of different ethnicities. Since working together we have become very good friends and it is easy for me to talk praises of a friend, however with Hammad he is someone I could depend on, whether in or out of work. Outside of work we have been involved in a lot of sport together as well as a lot of social events. With the confident, easy going and friendly attitude Hammad brings with him, he is someone that integrates very well and has a welcoming vibe about him.
