      Completed a PhD in international history on the topic of Britain's entry into the European Community and the relationship with New Zealand 1960-85. The thesis passed with no corrections and won the British International History Group Michael Dockrill Thesis Prize, awarded annually to the best doctoral thesis on international history at a British university. Other activities include: - Teaching the undergraduate courses 'International history since 1890' and 'From Sarajevo to Baghdad: Key decisions on war and peace 1914-2003' - Co-convener of the LSE International History Research Seminar series - Co-convener of the LSE-Sciences Po Seminar in Contemporary International History - Official Rapporteur for the meeting of the European Strategy Forum in Lisbon, March 2019.
