  Personal Training really helped me understand taking control of situations whilst also having that client-trainer bond. The organisation is key for planning clients’ sessions in advance and adapting them as they make progress outside of hours. During working hours, keeping morale up when training is getting hard is key to helping motivate your clients. This work entailed short but intense shift work (4-8hrs) of back to back personal training in a privately owned gym in Oxford.   Working 5 months in a ski resort in the Alps showed me how determination and organisation are key in work situations as well as keeping team morale to gain a positive and successful work environment. A big role for me was stepping up and completing lots of the chef preparations when there was a lack of staff and illness. Awarded kitchen assistant of the season in Austria within the company. This work included 40-75 hours of work a week working in a team environment in a chalet hotel in Ischgl, Austria. Show less
