      Completed a PhD in international history on the topic of Britain's entry into the European Community and the relationship with New Zealand 1960-85. The thesis passed with no corrections and won the British International History Group Michael Dockrill Thesis Prize, awarded annually to the best doctoral thesis on international history at a British university. Other activities include: - Teaching the undergraduate courses 'International history since 1890' and 'From Sarajevo to Baghdad: Key decisions on war and peace 1914-2003' - Co-convener of the LSE International History Research Seminar series - Co-convener of the LSE-Sciences Po Seminar in Contemporary International History - Official Rapporteur for the meeting of the European Strategy Forum in Lisbon, March 2019. My report covered the EU's Strategic Agenda for the next five years - Recipient of the Vibeke Sørensen Grant 2019, for research at the Historical Archives of the EU in Florence, Italy - Organiser of the annual workshop for incoming LSE International History PhD students - Non-degree course in French language - Presented research papers at conferences, workshops and seminars in UK, continental Europe and New Zealand.
