The focus is on developing and demonstrating teaching techniques, which are transferable to a variety of subjects across the curriculum, as well as showing how to adapt authentic materials for CLIL lessons. The focus of the course is very firmly focused on developing practical ideas for the classroom. Participants are exposed to a range of teaching practices and methodologies, which includes demonstrations of lessons; lesson planning and use of resources, adapting and exploiting texts; subject-based vocabulary teaching; evaluation of materials and resources; and tailored sessions on language improvement.
