  Was part of the client’s delivery department which gave exposure to oversee the roles of all project stakeholders, during these weeks I rotated across the Civil, MEP, and HSE departments along the Lead Design Consultant and the project control department of the Project Management Consultant, my work with each department consisted of * Civil - Review shop drawing ensure compliance with design and contract requirements through the issue for construction (IFC). - Joined with LDC for site inspections through various Work Inspection Requests submitted by the contractor and ensured compliance with shop drawings. - Attended weekly quality control/quality assurance meetings to discuss quality concerns on executed structural works by the contractor. - Witnessed various structural elements concreting and on site quality verification during casting. - Attended the concrete plant trial mix and witnessed the production and its control. - Involved and witnessed the various structural steel erection and fire proof painting (Intumescent) in the project. - Visited the structural steel factory to ensure quality of welding works, primer coat, and perform magnetic and ultrasonic testing to ensure no deformities in the structural steel element. * MEP - Review drainage works through Inspection Requests to ensure compliance with design and contract requirements * HSE - General field inspections to ensure that all safety procedures are to be adhered to by all workers - Inspection of scaffolding to be as per OSHA standard - Inspection of material and worker transportation equipment Show less
