  Lead the library preparation and sequencing protocols for a COVID-sequencing project in partnership with the UCSC Genomics Institute and the California Department of Public Health. I sequence around 384 samples weekly using the Illumina Covid-Sequencing pipeline, then analyze them using the lineage-calling program "DRAGEN". In addition to managing the COVID sequencing pipeline in the Shapiro Lab, I also conduct research involving wet lab functions (including DNA extraction, library preparation, and sequencing) as part of the Ancient and Degraded DNA Processing (ADDNAP) center at the UCSC Paleogenomics Lab.
