In my role within thePortfolio Management Unit of Asian Development BankResident Mission in Afghanistan, I undertake financial analysis of the ADB programme portfolioand prepare financial and progress review reports. I organize the AITF working group and steering committee meetings and report the progress to not only the contributing donors but alsogovernment of Afghanistan. Apart from that, as part of my day to day work, I manage theprogress on action plans for project performance improvement, manage consultant’s recruitment, and assist with budgeting and management of the portfolio. In addition, I assist with administration of centrally procured technical assistance assigned to Afghanistan Resident Mission (AFRM), includingpreparation of consultant recruitment plans, shortlisting and award of consultants’ contracts – as well as managing their payments etc.
