I first met Haley while she was running as an MP candidate in a 2017 federal by-election in Calgary, Alberta. What struck me most about Haley was her warm-heartedness and ability to inspire the volunteer team. Haley is deeply passionate and dedicated in her work, pushing the boundaries of what is possible through innovative approaches to risk taking and entrepreneurial pursuits.
Jennifer Burgess
Haley and I worked closely together in the Minister of Infrastructure's office. During her time there, Haley took on several different roles. From Ministerial Advisor to Press Secretary and then to Special Advisor, she continually showed her ability to be strategic, assertive, and collaborative in a variety of challenging projects and contexts. Whether working with mayors and CEOs or small community groups, Haley is critical thinker who knows how to develop and foster relationships. Because of Haley’s committed work, several critical infrastructure projects moved forward in ways that benefited the community and also highlighted our government’s investments. Working closely with multiple levels of government, Haley was able to understand and navigate the complexities of bi-lateral projects and advocate for the best outcome. One of Haley’s most outstanding strengths is her ability to be proactively prepared for everyday events, meetings, and conversations, while at the same time being adaptive and capable of managing high stress and quickly changing circumstances. I sincerely hope we are able to work together again in the future!
