At Extraordinary Desserts, we do a little bit of everything: take orders at the register, plate desserts, make coffee using an espresso machine, run out food, and bus tables. It's truly a team effort. After about a year here, I was offered a supervisory position and decided to take that while going to school! It's taught me a lot about time management and responsibility. Some of my duties include ordering espresso beans and beverages for the store as well as a weekly inventory of all bar products.

Coming from a background in gymnastics, I had the opportunity of coaching and leading classes from preschool Mommy & Me classes to level 3 gymnastics. I would put together exciting circuits for my little ones and come up with game plans to get my older girls onto the next level.I supervised summer camps and birthday parties as well along with some of my co-coaches. I held the title of Third Key at Journeys, right below Assistant Manager. I would open and close the store, put together shipments and ship them out, and handle money. It was a great first job for me ending my high school "career" and beginning my college one. I held the title of Third Key at Journeys, right below Assistant Manager.
