Very humbled to be given the opportunity to serve as a classroom and afterschool program aide in the School District of Philadelphia for City Year. Throughout my 1700 service hours, I have worked with a math group, a reading group, and an SEL mentoring group comprised of students from my 4th grade classroom. Outside of preparing lessons and researching SEL activities, my team and I have put on a consistent after school program and led numerous school wide initiatives, including Pi Day and Teacher Appreciation Week.

    • Delivery Driver/Shift Lead
      • Jul 2018 - Jun 2021

During my time at Jimmy John's, I worked as both a delivery driver and a shift lead, doing my best to meet the needs of the store I was placed at. As a delivery driver, especially during weekday lunch rushes, quick and accurate communication was essential, as well as making driving decisions that led to the fastest and safest deliveries. I also completed daily cleaning and food preparation tasks. As a shift lead, I managed closes and ensured that end of night checklists were done by myself and staff. Normal shift upkeep included baking bread at correct times, slicing meats and cheeses, and completing both in-shop and delivery orders.

    • Vice President of Administration
      • Jan 2020 - Dec 2020

The Vice President of Administration is second to the president of the chapter in that I assist in managing the various other positions and offer assistance to them when needed. In addition, there are several large events I plan during the year, including visits from our Headquarters Ambassadors, our composite photoshoot, our officer transition meetings, and our elections process.

    • Vice President Finance
      • Jan 2019 - Dec 2019

As Vice President of Finance for Alpha Omicron Pi, the main duty of my position was to manage our chapter's finances, which included both overseeing and creating budgets, and invoicing members. I am most proud of my efforts to make our finance system easily understandable to members and their parents, and making myself accessible and open to questions and concerns. I believe Finance is an essential position to the sorority, not only because it is how we plan and create our events, but because finance can difficult to understand and needs a strong and confident communicator to keep everyone informed. Helping to bridge the gap between finance terms and the general chapter population was an exciting challenge, and I greatly enjoyed my time in this position.

    • Administrative Assistant
      • May 2018 - Jan 2019

As an administrative assistant to Gillian Perkins, I performed many tasks throughout the week, such as answering emails and helping manage membership to her online business course. This position helped me develop some of what I consider to be my best skills, including strong communication skills, time management, and attention to detail. My job as office manager at Northwest School of Music was to serve as the face of the company and the connection between students and teachers of the school. Northwest School of Music is a private music lesson studio, offering one-on-one and group lessons with a variety of instruments. My position had a variety of tasks, including basic advertisement of the services we offered, maintenance of the lobby area, filing student records, and maintaining the master lesson calendar. In addition, this job required use of Quickbooks to invoice 100+ students each month, and complete payroll for 8-12 employees every two weeks. My favorite part of this job was the organization aspect, as well as creating a positive environment for students and their families.

During my time with Volcanoes Baseball, I was promoted to daily ticket sales, wherein I spent a considerable amount of time alone in the ticket booth managing both in-person and phone sales of tickets. During this time, I quickly learned the ticket sales system and helped to create a very positive and helpful environment for customers of the baseball stadium.
