In addition to managing editorial workflow on assigned new titles, manage print production on all new titles (15–20 per year) and reprints (~60 per year), which includes the following: · Work with associate publisher to plan and manage reprints and monitor and manage backlist titles. · Prepare new title specifications with input from creative director and acquisitions editor and obtain print bids from multiple manufacturers. · Traffic and manage print schedules, and manage internal and external proofing duties. · Meet with vendors (print sales representatives) during onsite visits and build effective working relationships with key suppliers.
