I am currently volunteering in rural Vietnam as the Princeton in Asia Fellow until May 2020. As the only native English lecturer at the local community college, my mission is to equip college students with language skills necessary to communicate and compete in a global society and economy. In my free-time, I am an active community member and collaborate with local Vietnamese colleagues to organize and lead English-speaking opportunities for students and community members. I also provide pro-bono mentoring to local small businesses developing services for international customers.

As a leader overseeing an area of 500+ students, I had the pleasure to lead a team of five Eco-Reps in promoting awareness about ecological issues and encouraging environmentally sustainable behavior through organizing events, campaigns, and composting on-campus. In addition to our monthly events, our biggest accomplishment includes organizing and successfully executing the Wasteless Dinner sustainability event attended by 2,000 students and 50 volunteers.
