Hakeem is an incredibly hard worker who doesn't mind taking risks, has a forcible moral code, is formidably honest, and is as loyal a friend as they come. I had the pleasure of working with Hakeem for a year-and-a-half and his drive, ambition and work ethic were superlative. Hakeem is not afraid to challenge, but is also able to take feedback with humility and drive to do better. Hakeem is tough as nails and is a difficult person to offend or arouse emotionally. One thing that I personally loved about Hakeem, being one of his co-workers, was his ability to bring everyone together and really make the office feel more like a team. His eccentric spunk and humor could turn a dark cloud into a ray of sunshine. Hakeem was friends with everyone and was able to speak his mind without offending. Hakeem has an uncanny ability to make everyone feel special and appreciated. Hakeem is the guy who makes sure you have a good birthday, work anniversary, or good-bye celebration. Hakeem is always willing to go out of his way to help others. I would watch him train, supervise, run meetings and work to make the office more efficient even though he was gaining nothing personally or monetarily. Hakeem was also working to better the community. After the Paradise fire, Hakeem was collecting donations because he would drive to the Chico/Paradise area himself to offer relief and service. Hakeem would also be one of the first to volunteer to help a co-worker paint, move, etc. It is truly sad to not work with Hakeem anymore, but as can be expected, I know that Hakeem will always be there for me as a friend, because that is just who he is.

Hakeem is well rounded, sharp, and has a drive to succeed that is second to non. Hakeem is they type of person you want on your team because you know that he gives his best at all times and is willing help anyone else along the way. I had the privilege of being Hakeems recruiting lead and direct mentor on a day to day.Hakeem over exceeded expectations and hit his goals set for him 3 months earlier than expected. He is on the of the hardest working employees i've had the privilege of working with and will do what ever is necessary to get the job done. If that means staying late or even meeting contractors outside of the office to deliver excellent customer service,Hakeem will do it.
