Hailey spent eight years as an award-winning TV Reporter in Florida and North Carolina, covering some of the south’s biggest breaking news stories, murder trials and hurricanes. She solely shot, wrote, edited, produced and reported two documentaries. Well-respected as Jacksonville, Florida’s lead reporter, Hailey was most appreciated for her entertaining sports coverage, most notably, a fun football segment she created and anchored for five years on WJXT Ch. 4 called, Winslow’s Wild Things. “What are you gonna do this week?” locals would always stop and ask her. Highlights of Hailey’s stints include skydiving dressed as a team mascot’s “Indian Princess,” zip-lining as a “bumblebee” over 15-foot alligators, “kid-napping” a high school principal (unknowingly afraid of heights) and taking him trapeze-flying in their “Bucking Bronco” get-up and even finding a way to launch herself out of a cannon, all before kick-off of Jacksonville Jaguars, Florida Gators and high school football games. Hailey got hooked on reporting in middle school in Atlanta, when her older sister, Megan, started a news program and let her cover “Georgia Journeys.” Megan is also still a Reporter, most recently for a newspaper in San Francisco. Hailey received her Broadcast Journalism degree and Spanish minor from the University of Central Florida. Show less
