Hailey has worked in the contaminated land industry for almost 15 years, starting her career in Melbourne as a graduate. Over her career, Hailey has worked as a field scientist, project manager and auditor assistant on a range of projects associated with the assessment and remediation of contaminated sites, environmental management and environmental auditing. This has provided her with extensive experience in third party reviews of contaminated land assessments (NSW and QLD), and management of environmental investigations. Hailey has been involved in the assessment and review of sites with landuses such as residential, rail land, service stations, papermill sites, dry cleaners, gasworks, council depots, sewage treatment plants, solid waste transfer stations, cattle tick dip sites and industrial facilities. Hailey’s primary role at Easterly Point Environmental is providing specialist advice to clients in the form of technical third-party reviews and advice relating to contaminated land-related matters, as well as providing high-level audit support, having been working as an audit assistant since 2006. This, combined with her consulting experience, has provided her with a high-level understanding of the regulatory and technical requirements for environmental site assessments, remediation and management, and site audits in both NSW and Queensland. Hailey’s professional interests include the investigation and remediation of per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), toxicology and human health risk assessments, with her on-going professional development focused in these areas. Hailey has been accepted by the NSW EPA as part of Marc Salmon’s technical specialist team for human health risk assessments. Hailey is a member of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (MEIANZ), Australasian College of Toxicology and Risk Assessment (ACTRA) and a certified environmental practitioner (CEnvP).
