Reporting directly to the Executive director of Abu Ghazaleh Consulting. Changed the 15 year old format of valuation reports produced, to a much advanced and complex style and layout adding multiple valuation approaches before reaching a conclusion based on the type of reports produced by Big 4 advisory firms. Introduced risk metrics, excel based sheet to calculate project specific and company specific risk for each separate assignment based on market and company specific data including CAPM, APT and other multi risk factor models enabling the firm to charge a higher fee for the same reports. Prepared base excel financial models from scratch to use for ad hoc assignments calculating cash flows and preparing preliminary key financial statements including sensitivity analysis. Conducted and headed a feasibility study report for a subsidiary company of Dubai Islamic Bank, the project included meetings with VP’s and AVP’s of multiple departments. Merited multiple raises in a short span based solely on personal performances and the ability to handle difficult clients due to deep understanding on core subjects and good inter-personnel skills. Financial projections through excel based modelling based on data collected from different primary and secondary sources and applying project appraisal techniques such as NPV, IRR, ARR, payback period etc. Detailed and in-depth financial analysis on historical and projected figures to assess quality of reported earnings and cash flows. Forecasting cash flows and preparing financial models to perform business valuations for private companies and groups using different valuation approaches. Detailed analytical and market research from various sources on individual clients target market & carrying out financial feasibility studies for various industry sectors including government sectors such as UAE ministries, Restaurants, Healthcare, Education, Information Technology, Real Estate, construction etc. Show less
