Project Manager - Technical Assistance for Active Transport Development in the Philippines

Five hundred kilometers of bicycle lanes and infrastructure have been implemented in the metropolitan areas across the Philippines. This exciting, nation-wide active transport project was led by key governmental bodies as a part of the Government of the Philippines active transport legislation, i.e., the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act (Bayanihan II). The World Bank Group (WBG) was asked by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to provide active transport and traffic safety advice (Technical Assistance). This was to ensure the project outcomes comply with international best practice and the Safe System approach.
