  North America From May to July of 2017 I converted an empty cargo Sprinter van into a self-contained tiny home on wheels. Throughout this process I learned carpentry skills, wired the whole van to run off of solar energy, installed a water system and completed several textile projects. I came out of the build having overcome countless hurdles. I came out of the build having overcome countless hurdles. During the year that followed, I lived out of the van with my husband full-time, traveling around North America primarily exploring public lands, National Forests and National Parks. Once we hit the road, I started an Instagram-based blog and personal brand by the name From Our Vantage (now @hadleyfuller) and gained a substantial following. I became the Brand Ambassador for a dozen outdoor and adventure retail companies, creating digital content to use for collective storytelling.   1070 N. Main Street I helped organize the first phase of Rhode Island’s Zero: 2016 campaign to end veteran and chronic homelessness. This phase involved registering and surveying all homeless individuals in shelters and on the streets over a three-day period in November. I coordinated and implemented this effort with constituents, local organizations, and over 50 volunteers, and I was responsible for 20% of the state.

  Pawtucket, Rhode Island I assisted with the organization’s Project Homeless Connect initiative and completed a personal research project that helped the coalition pass legislation to aid in housing the homeless. In order to do this, I reached out to case managers at the partnering homeless serving organizations to conduct interviews with their constituents. Over the course of my research, I gained a better understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of operating with a Housing First social policy.
