  • Promoted as Regional Operations Head-North India (Deputy General Manager) after again rated as “Exceeded Expectation” & looking after operations of all the circles in north india in addition to Circle Manager role for JK circle. My responsibilities include uptime maintenance as per the SLA with all the operators,ensure all infra issues affecting uptime are closed in a time bound manner,all the necessary corporate support including vendor support is available to the circles thus ensuring uptime. • I have to ensure monthly outage reconciliation is done within specified timelines,Opex invoices are raised & timely submitted to all operators every month and ensure monthly P&F reconciliation is closed as per target dates.Develop,initiate & implement new methodologies to minimize outages,reduce Opex losses & to implement practices that ensure smooth outage and P&F recon with all operators. • I have to ensure Outstanding against opex invoices are reduced to minimum,collection targets are achieved & NFA’s are raised against deductions.• FO model gets implemented in circles & provide support in closing all the issues related to implementation of FO model.• Providing Technical/non technical support to circles to close all site specific issues affecting uptime & Opex SLA. • Conduct circle reviews at individual level & also with Corporate team.• Reporting to Head Operations Pan india.

  • As Circle Manager,involved in functioning of all the depts of circle like O&M,Projects etc.• Has been rated as “Significantly Exceeding Expectations” & “Exceeding Expectations” throughout my tenure at Ascend Telecom. • Due to consistent good performance, I was given the opportunity to handle O&M of Bsnl sites pan india along with JK circle.• Managing O&M of more than 200 sites & 4 BSC’s with a Tenancy ratio of 1.89 along with New RollOuts within AOP (Capex & Opex).Taking care of utility part to better capitalize on the installed equipment,help improve operational efficiency and lower the overall cost providing smart energy infrastructure.• Maintain uptime of all sites as per the SLA’s with various operators.Has been able to maintain an uptime of 99.99% & above for all non Bsnl operators and around 99.98% for Bsnl from last more than 5 years despite climatic,political & geographical challenges. • Has been able to generate another revenue stream for company by maintaining outage penalty and P&F loss well below corp approved 0.5% of the P&F billing value consistently from last 5 years.• Has been able to run sites with a P&F expenditure which is one of the lowest among all our competitors as acknowledged by all our customers.• Preparing AOP for JK circle from last 6 years.• Has been able to operate sites within AOP in last 5 years & successfully achieved cost saving of around 40% of the H2 AOP of yr14-15 without affecting uptime,services & Quality. • Ensure smooth functioning of Network operating center.• Ensure ROI on various initiatives implemented in circle including energy management initiatives like solar panel,Wind chimney,Water bodies etc • J&K circle has been recognized by Ascend corporate as Best performing circle year after year topping the pan india list from last many years.• Ascend Telecom has been consistently regarded as the best performing telecom company among all its competitors by all its customers in JK circle.

  Bsnl launched mobile services in JK circle & being part of the team my role involved I&C of both Active as well as Passive network including scm,logistics and O&M of active and passive elements thereafter.Completed Roll out of more than 1000 Sites including sites in Leh & Kargil,BTS,BSC's,Metro hubs,Micro BTS's,Loops,Flexihoppers,Mini links,laying of OFC surface,underground & overhead.Managed team of Patrollers,Reducing cuts & maintaining uptime,was responsible for Smooth functioning of OFC route,monitoring HDD,Trenching,Ducting,Splicing, DIT.Completed Swap as well as Expansion of more than 300 BTS sites.Handing over of Rolled out sites to Bsnl after completion of AT & simultaneously starting O&M of all these Sites.I have been responsible for all the aspects of the Project & operations including Planning,RF survey,acquisition,Civil,Installation,Integration & commissioning of BTS,Bsc's,Electrical work,Quality,Business Analysis,vendor management, cost management,data management & customer management,Conducting Acceptance Testing of Sites with AT Officials of Customers(from T&D Deptt.BSNL Chandigarh). Building and maintaining healthy business relations with govt. and semi-govt.departments, statutory bodies,and other external agencies.Coordinating on various state policies, Approvals and Govt.Notifications. Successfully managed O&M of these sites (Active as well as passive elements) during & after rollout. Also completed roll out (I&C of active & passive elements excluding civil ) for almost 250 sites of Airtel in Kashmir. I was also responsible for O&M of around 350 Aircel Sites in Kashmir.Award Phase4 of Bsnl Rollout in j&k circle was given Excellence Award Pan India for successful Completion of roll out in most unfavorable Conditions by Nokia India Limited.

  At 300KW High Power Transmitter I was working in the field of Radio Broadcasting & I was responsible for the smooth functioning of various Broadcasting Equipments.• My role included maintenance & Repairs of various Broadcasting equipments viz 300 kw MW solid state Transmitter,SH 700 Thomcast,which was based on French Technology,100kw Valve type Transmitters, three in number; Studio Transmitter Link which included Microwave-5 Channel Transmitter/Receiver; Satellite Up Links & Down Links;a no of Self Radiating & Self Supporting Masts used in Broadcasting Transmission; DG sets & other Electrical Equipments.• My responsibilities also included assigning duties to various Engineers/Technicians working in different Shifts in order to ensure 24*7 Smooth Transmission.
