   General cost accounting, payroll functions, maintain accounting records, and other related duties in the daily administration of the finance department.  Participate on the management team to provide leadership and direction to agency.  Monitor and analyze accounts receivable collections from individuals, government entities and other third party funding entities; reconcile customer accounts, book revenues and fees.  Assist external auditors at year end: preparing schedules and invoices, providing explanations of supporting materials and procedures, and preparing any other necessary data.  Oversee accounts payable duties: verifying invoices for payment, ensuring that expenditures are charged to appropriate accounts.  Maintain records of financial documents with appropriate supporting material; update records as necessary.  Analysis of monthly financial statements: monthly balance sheets, income statements, reporting on changes in financial position and budget variances.  Reconcile general ledger accounts to their related subsidiary ledgers and make adjustments.  Direct and supervise the work of additional staff as it relates to accounting.  Provide departmental assistance with questions and analysis relating to payroll, budget to actual reports, and general ledger.  Monthly closings  Monthly Executive Committee and Board meeting updates  HR functions  Business Operations Show less
