At Nuffield health I had a number of duties, the main duty I had was to be a Personal Trainer and to set an example for members and to fellow colleagues, I also became one of Nuffield’s few Wellbeing advisors whereby I could conduct a health MOT which is a Pre exercise health assessment, conducting detailed tests checking cholesterol, glucose BMI and Waist to hip ratios. Some of my other daily duties on the gym floor, were the daily cleaning of the gym equipment, the running of classes such as circuits, RPM being in charge of the rota and booking sheets, this role meant I had to be really organised as this task could be difficult when you have a set budget of hours and were quite often short staffed.Another role of mine was the role of Swimming Coordinator this role meant I had to run the swim school and make it into a successful business, where I had a set target to hit each month.
