  I have carried out my graduation internship at Corpag as part of the finance department. My thesis focused on the invoicing process of the company. This included how the process and its internal control could be improved upon. I had a focus on using traditional methods and business intelligence tools. As part of the internship, one of my main goals was to bridge the gap between the Finance and the IT department so that they are better aligned with each other.

  I was working as a controlling intern at the Boxtel Cylinders factory of Bosch Rexroth. My main assignment was making an online semi-automated digital dashboard containing all the necessary key performance indicators used by management. This dashboard was made using PowerBI. Furthermore, one of the key objectives of this assignment was to make huge amounts of data easier to read and navigate, thus helping management in steering the company, Also, while working on the dashboard I took part in the everyday work of the department, which including forecasting, budgeting, setting and reviewing performance targets. Before the end of my internship, I have also created a user manual, which included how the dashboard was built up, what data management steps are automated, how to update the dashboard and what future improvements could be made. I have also helped my colleagues learn how to update the dashboard and how to use Power Bi. During my internship, I have learned a lot about using Excel, PowerBI, SAP, internal reporting and about controlling as a whole. Show less
