Integrity, intelligence, and an entrepreneur are the words that I would use to describe Greg. I worked with Greg for many years at Huge as Greg moved around different offices and took on different roles. What consistently impressed me about Greg was his ability to establish a trusted relationship with seemingly everyone and find ways to break complex challenges into simple, solvable problems, and bring others along to solving them. Greg is exceptionally kind and genuinely enthusiastic about creating community and culture for a team of people to encourage them to do their best and more. He is technologies at heart and is a master at applying technology to create beautiful and intuitive products. Greg brought us the best of Huge at every turn – across creative, technology, and strategy - and was a pleasure to work with. I look forward to when we can work together again.

Greg is an extremely knowledgeable and capable guy. He writes the cleanest, most effective, and most bug-free CSS and JavaScript that I have ever seen. His talent goes far beyond web front end, however - he is skilled with a very wide range of technologies, and uses them to his advantage on a daily basis.

Greg made a powerful first impression on me. He has very strong opinions and is not afraid to back them up. Initially I was tempted to engage him in an argument-for-the-sake-of-arguing but something in my head said it was advisable to do otherwise. Come to find out, I was fortunate to have been so perceptive. Greg is utterly untouchable because he has the chops to back up his powerhouse persona - and he knows it. At the same time, Greg has been deeply inspirational to me as someone who has a thorough, multi-dimentional, mastery of the myriad technologies involved in enterprise web development, and isn't arrogant about it which makes him a brilliant team player.

Business development, strategy, creative direction, solution architecture, delivery, career management, community involvement, and agency-wide thought leadership. As a veteran of interactive and a veteran of the agency, I have become an internal and client-facing steward of Huge's brand and Huge's standards of excellence—across user experience, creative, technology, and delivery. In two years, I built the technology business at the Oakland studio from near-zero revenue to over $10m per year. I've enjoyed enviable employee retention (through turbulent times), and delivered award-winning experiences (Cannes, Clio, Digiday) for clients like Google, UCSF, Nike, Target, Lexus, Zelle and Notifica. This is the job that taught me how to stay organized. I actually operated a dictaphone and transcribed spoken meeting minutes. I kept printers full of paper. I made sure we *never* ran out of my left-handed boss's favorite brand of pens (good old PaperMate - apparently they don't smudge). They figured out I knew computers; somehow that translated to repairing 20-year-old receipt printers (got free lunch for that one) or even typewriters. I was a long-haired party-animal, often hungover, and they were pretty cool about it as long as those spreadsheets were tight. They were only slightly disappointed when I was quoted in the NY Times saying I used my work computer for online dating. Show less

For 5 years I worked part-time, and often full-time during the Summer, as a dishwasher for the catering facility at Waterloo Village, a historical village in New Jersey. Varied duties centered primarily on washing the damn dishes, but also included prep cooking, garbage duty, bathroom cleaning, and other tasks at the pinnacle of glamor. I also worked events, including beverage & food service for concerts with up to 40,000 spectators, and worked as a short order cook at the concession stand within the historical village. Once, for Oktoberfest, they set me up next to a suckling pig, handed me a giant knife and 100 loaves of bread, and told me to make & sell sandwiches for $6 a piece. Boy was that a mess. Show less
