Gwen was a delightful intern to work with in the Talent Recruitment and Outreach (TRO) Division at the Library of Congress! She is an intern in a program I manage called the Library of Congress Internships (LOCI) program. The program runs three times a year (like an academic year), and I have been fortunate enough to work closely with Gwen in both the LOCI program and the TRO division during the 2023 summer semester. Her strong attention to detail and ability to learn new skills quickly has been admirable to watch and immensely helpful for the work I do in my office. Since day one of the internship, she has been a calming and reliable force in our office. No matter what assignment you throw at her, Gwen will get it done in record time and flawlessly. I have enjoyed my time working with her as both her program manager and team member at the Library of Congress. Any team would be lucky to have someone as capable, gracious, and intelligent as Gwen!

As the former editor-in-chief at Study Breaks, I supervised Gwendolyn, who worked as an editing intern. In her time at Study Breaks, she proved to be an incredibly strong editor. She showed a strong commitment to improving her craft and a keen eye for details both large and small — something crucial for editing. She was a great team player as well as someone who worked well independently. I am positive that Gwendolyn will thrive no matter where she goes.
