I mainly worked on three projects: black-headed gulls in Viborg, wolves in western Jutland, and barnacle geese on Lolland-Falster. The gull project addressed the noise and possible nature pollution caused by the gulls in a residential area by a marsh. I was the assistant facilitator at community involvement meetings. Further I researcher and presented answers to the questions posed by the locals, and I wrote meeting minutes. Lastly I helped the local residents author a report on their suggested solutions. Project Wolf Dialogue has created a space for the local population to in Idom and Råsted to discuss, ask questions about and develop a management plan for the wolves. The project has promoted local ownership of the wolf and has encouraged a safe, democratic debate about the wolf. My role in this project was as assistant facilitator of meetings and the author of meeting minutes. The barnacle goose project aims to mitigate the damage caused to fields by the increasing population of barnacle geese, and the disagreements that have occurred in its wake. I contributed as an interviewer of landowners and hunters as well as participating in a meeting between project managers and local participants. Show less
