When you grew up, did you want to work in a boring office? Us neither. Since 2014 Runway East has been on a mission to destroy boring offices and replace them with beautiful flexible workspaces for teams of 1 - 100 that power team bliss, assisted by unique perks (dogs on demand anyone?), great benefits and events and, most importantly, an amazing and caring community team. We currently have 8 sites in London & Bristol, with over 3500+ members enjoying team bliss all day, every day. Destroying the planet and society is on our boring list, so we're also a B Corp. We believe strongly in creating an inclusive work environment that contributes to the planet and society — and hope you do too. If you like the sound of our spaces, check out runwayea.st/membership — and if you like the sound of working for us, check out runwayea.st/careers. In both instances you get access to dogs and an amazing team. Show less

From 2018-2022, I graduated from my sixth form academy and began working as a colleague at the public limited company Pets at Home. During my time in the business, I have acquired a plethora of useful skills: - I have perfected my customer service capability; I can confidently and professionally work with clientele to achieve the most financially beneficial outcome both for the client and the company. - I have trained various employees on site, utilising my experience to create a better working environment for the whole team as well as the clientele. - Demonstrated a clear understanding of the value in teamwork. Learning from my peers as well as my superiors to achieve highly productive results in a highly competitive environment. - Developed the ability to handle a demanding and flexible workload including various manual, digital and verbal tasks on a daily basis. This was necessary as I was a committed key worker throughout the pandemic. - Demonstrated adaptability and versatility in a wide variety of roles throughout the business, including but not limited to store colleague, animal welfare representative, aquarium maintenance staff, warehouse worker, stock taker, customer service attendant and a cashier all within the space of my first year. My time in the private sector has honed key skills that would greatly benefit any business working closely with its customers, as well as providing me with an understanding of how to handle an increasingly demanding workload whilst continuing to produce effective, high quality results under pressure.
